The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf (LCD), is excited to announce that a group of individuals has been selected to participate in the first-ever cohort of the Louisiana Deaf Leadership Development Program (LD2). This program has been designed to provide our Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing participants with the necessary resources, network, and support to enhance their leadership skills and make an even greater impact on the Louisiana community.
The LD2 Program, a ten-month program, will be led by Innivee Strategies, a Deaf-led organizational and leadership development company. Our selected cohort of participants comes from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, and we are excited to see the positive impact they will have on our community as they continue to grow and develop as leaders.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the applicants for showing interest in the LD2 program. We are limited on how many can participate this year, however, we are hopeful that this will be the first of many more opportunities to come.
