The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is kicking off its Health Equity in Action (HEIA) Series on Thursday, August 24th at 12 pm with a webinar titled, “Health Equity and Social Determinants of Health: How were they addressed during the pandemic?” The goal of HEIA is to increase understanding about health equity and equip people with tools for improving conditions where they were born, work, live, learn, worship, and age.
