The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf (LCD) participated in a virtual open forum hosted by the Louisiana Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf on April 3, 2025. During the forum, the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf provided information and answered questions about the minimum standards for sign language interpreters working in community settings, registration requirements, the grievance policy, and how we will support the interpreting workforce moving forward.
