The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf is seeking a highly skilled, full-time staff sign language interpreter to join our team. The interpreter will provide professional ASL/English interpreting services for Louisiana Commission for the Deaf staff, board members, and other state agencies, while contributing to interpreter workforce development throughout Louisiana.
The staff sign language interpreter will:
- Provide professional ASL/English interpreting in a state government setting
- Mentor interns and support workforce development
- Lead interpreting teams for meetings and events
- Be based in our office located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
