The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf Board of Commissioners voted to create a short-term adhoc committee in order to define the objectives, goals, qualifications and membership criteria for the future Interpreter Advisory Committee. The official name of the committee will be established at a later date. This committee will begin hosting a series of hybrid public meetings with board approved committee members beginning Oct 2025. The future Interpreter Advisory Committee will be tasked with general responsibilities of advising the Board of Commissioners on topics such as registration requirements, reviewing and investigating grievance, issuing recommendations for disciplinary action, if warranted, informing interpreter qualifications and other important duties. These sessions aim to develop the criteria for the future Interpreter Advisory Committee.

The guard desk and elevators will be to your left. Proceed to the closest elevator bank and select 20. There will be signs directing you once off of elevator to Suite 2024.
