A skilled American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter workforce is critical to ensuring equitable communication access for all d/Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard-of-hearing ASL users. A robust interpreter mentorship system is one of our key strategies to increase the quality and quantity of ASL interpreters working in Louisiana.
